If you have not donated blood or plasma recently, but you want to, now is the time. More than 500 donors are needed during September in Launceston, and over 2000 across the state.
Australian Red Cross Lifeblood spokesperson Ann Harvey thanked all those who had booked in to donate, but said more were still required to ensure there was a supply for patients in need.
