Tasmania is expected to see strong, potentially damaging northwesterly winds developing Sunday afternoon.
A gusty cold front is predicted to approach from the west, crossing the state early tomorrow evening.
A severe weather warning for damaging winds has been issued for Sunday.

Gusts of around 100km/h will be possible across the state in the afternoon and are expected to continue across the North-West into the evening.
The gusty weather is expected to redevelop across the state later next week, as a series of lows and fronts approach from the southwest.
The northwesterly winds will bring, however, some warmer weather to Tasmania, with temperatures expected to be about eight degrees above average on Sunday.
In the state’s North, Launceston is forecast to reach 17 degrees.
In the South, Hobart is forecast to reach 20 degrees.
The chilly weather will return Monday, with temperatures expected to reach only 10 to 12 degrees.
