Have the leaders debated before?

Yes, they have. On Monday, August 10, the three leaders clashed over the Government’s handling of coronavirus during an election debate on commercial radio.

During the debate on Mix 104.9 FM, Labor’s Michael Gunner repeated his pitch for Territorians to “stay the course” with his Government and declared it a risk to vote for the Country Liberals or Territory Alliance.

CLP leader Lia Finocchiaro wasn’t impressed by his comments.

“You are scaremongering and a person in your position should not be misleading Territorians,” she said.
