Politicians from both sides of the isle have come together to thank early childhood educators on Early Education Day.
Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff said the educators played a key role in helping Tasmania continue throughout the pandemice.
He said the earlier we can get children into education the better.
Labor education spokesperson Josh Willie echoed the Minister’s sentiments.

Discovery Launceston Early Learning Centre manager of quality, culture and operations Sally Reynolds said the day was a chance to highlight the importance of educators.
“A child’s early years are the foundation for future development providing a strong base for lifelong learning, health and wellbeing,” she said.
“Today is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the wonderful contribution educators make to the wellbeing and healthy development of young children and families in their care.”
