Boutique hotel Stillwater SEVEN is continuing to accumulate awards for its developers.
Launceston-based architects Cumulus Studios received two national awards recently for the hotel: the Australia By Design award for best interior design and the Paul Henry award for best new hotel development.
Cumulus director Todd Henderson said the awards were a credit to the team at the firm.
In other news:
Launceston-based Anstie Constructions, who oversaw the building of SEVEN as well as co-owners Kim Seagram AM and Rod Ascui have also received awards for the hotel since its inception.
Mr Henderson said the awards on all levels of development were an indication of a job well done.
“That’s the best thing about it … how we worked together as teams, what I like the most about any of these projects is when you get a great builder and a great client … we can work together on it,” he said.
