Convicted killer Rick Thorburn is fighting for his life in hospital after being found unresponsive in his jail cell on Saturday morning.

Emergency services transported the prisoner to the Princess Alexandra Hospital from the Wolston Correctional Centre after officers discovered him unconscious at unlock on Saturday.
A Princess Alexandra Hospital spokeswoman said he remained in a critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit.
Thorburn was sentenced to life in jail for murdering his 12-year-old foster daughter Tiahleigh Palmer in 2018.
Tiahleigh was reported missing on October 30, 2015, with the Thorburns telling police she had not returned from school.
He is just two years into his 20-year sentence and is not eligible for parole until September, 2036.
