Entries are now open for the prestigious Glover Art Prize for 2021.
This is the 18th year of the prize, with artists from across the globe annually competing for the coveted award.
This year’s prize received a record-high 563 entries narrowed to 42 finalists.
The overall winner was Hobart-based artist Robert O’Connor with his work: Somewhere on the Midlands.

The winner of the prize received $50,000 and a bronze maquette of artist John Glover, from which the award gets its name, valued at $5,000.
Entries close January 22, 2021.
Finalists will be announced on February 5 with a winner being announced March 14, 2021.
