قاتل هری دان آن ساکولاس طبق برنامه هفته آینده در بریتانیا محاکمه نخواهد شد | اخبار انگلستان

قاتل ادعایی هری دان، آن ساکولاس، هفته آینده دیگر با دادگاهی در بریتانیا روبرو نخواهد شد تا اجازه ادامه «بحث‌های جاری» با دادستانی سلطنتی را بدهد.

این شهروند آمریکایی باید روز سه شنبه از طریق لینک ویدیویی در دادگاه دادگستری وست مینستر حاضر می شد.

ساکولاس، همسر یک دیپلمات آمریکایی، متهم است که پس از تصادف مرگبار در مقابل پایگاه نظامی ایالات متحده RAF Croughton در نورث همپتون شایر در 27 اوت 2019، با رانندگی خطرناک باعث مرگ آقای دان شده است.

این زن 44 ساله دارای مصونیت دیپلماتیکی بود که از طرف او توسط دولت آمریکا ادعا شده بود و 19 روز پس از درگیری موفق شد بریتانیا را ترک کند.

تصمیمی برای متهم کردن ساکولاس در دسامبر 2019 گرفته شد.

در بیانیه دادستانی آمده است: «به دنبال نامزدی بین طرفین، جلسه دادرسی 18 ژانویه در دادگاه وست مینستر مجیستراس خالی است.

"این اجازه می دهد تا بحث های جاری بین CPS و نمایندگان قانونی آن ساکولاس ادامه یابد.

خانم ساکولاس حق محاکمه عادلانه دارد. بسیار مهم است که هیچ گزارش، اظهار نظر یا به اشتراک گذاری اطلاعات به صورت آنلاین وجود نداشته باشد، که به هر طریق ممکن است به خودسری آسیب برساند."

راد سیگر، سخنگوی خانواده هری دان، گفت: "ما به سرویس دادستانی سلطنتی اعتماد کامل داریم و مشتاقانه منتظر شنیدن آنها در مورد تحولات بیشتر هستیم، امیدوارم در آینده نزدیک."

خانواده هری بدیهی است که مشتاقانه منتظر جلسه سه شنبه بودند، بنابراین آنها امیدوارند که زودتر به توافق برسد.

"برای سلامت روان آنها حیاتی است که عدالت و تکمیل به زودی محقق شود.

شارلوت چارلز، مادر آقای دان 19 ساله، در دسامبر سال گذشته گفت که خانواده‌اش پس از شنیدن این که ساکولاس باید در بریتانیا با محاکمه جنایی روبرو شود، احساس «بسیار عاطفی و غرق» کردند.
